How do I format my text?
The toolbar above the text-entry box will aid you in adding wiki markup. To use it, just select the text you want to format and click on the button. The change in your text serves to markup your intended format, so that it is available after you press the Save Page button. If you need further help, please visit this page .
Important: References to scientific articles increase the credibility of your contributions! To add a link to a PubMed article you first need to get its PubMed Identifier (PMID). It can usually be found below the journal name or the abstract. Then, depending on the context, do the following:
- If you are editing the References section, just add the PMID to the <pubmed> <\pubmed> space. After saving the page, SubtiWiki will extract the full citation of the paper automatically.
- If you are editing another part of the page and want to link your contribution to a paper in PubMed, write {{PubMed|xxxxxx}} where xxxxxx is the PMID you extracted ( e.g. {{PubMed|19383706}} ). SubtiWiki will automatically convert this text into a link to the corresponding PubMed reference. To add more than one reference, separate the PMIDs using commas and no spaces, as in {{PubMed|19383706,16407324}}
