The vector was constructed in the [[Stülke]] lab and it is suitable for constitutive expression of C-terminally Strep-tagged proteins in ''B. subtilis''. The plasmid confers resistance to ampicillin and kanamycin in ''E. coli'' and ''B. subtilis'', respectively. To transform ''B. subtilis'', the plasmid has to be linearized with ScaI. The plasmid confers resistance to ampicillin and kanamycin in E. coli and B. subtilis, respectively. To transform B. subtilis, the plasmid has to be linearized with ScaI. Just like pGP382 it can be used for the SPINE method.

Genes cloned into this vector require a Shine-Dalgarno sequence.
