BACELL meeting 2011

The BACELL meeting is anually organized by the European Bacillus community. It provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the latest research on Bacillus and related Gram-positive bacteria with colleagues from all over Europe. The meeting is accompanied by special meetings of the SYSMO and BaSysBio consortia, and these will be organized by the respective coordinators.

Venue

The meeting will take place in the convention center "Historic observatory" in Göttingen (see the location on the map)

Fees

The conference fee for each of the three parts is as follows:

  • BACELL SYSMO meeting 10,00 €
  • General BACELL meeting 70,00 € (includes dinner on March 14)
  • BaSysBio meeting 60,00 € (includes dinner on March 15)

Please have the total fee available in cash at the registration desk of the meeting!

How to reach Göttingen

  • By train: Göttingen has an ICE station, and there are direct trains from Hamburg, Basel, Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin. If you come from the western part of Germany (or from the Netherlands), please go to Kassel or Hannover, and then via ICE to Göttingen.
  • By plane: The next airport is Hannover, from there you can take the train or rent a car. Alternative airports include Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt. Then pleases take the train to Göttingen.
